Let's Go For A Drive THIS THURSDAY, August 27th

LET'S GO FOR A DRIVE FROM ISSAQUAH TO WHISTLIN' JACKS ON AUGUST 27th

The weather looks great and who doesn’t enjoy a good weather drive in their Corvette! 

Join us for a tour this Thursday.  Meet at Burger King, 1705 Gilman Blvd, Issaquah about 9:00 AM with a departure of 9:15 AM SHARP. 

Our plan is to take the back roads to Enumclaw, then scenic Highway 410.  We have lunch planned at Whistlin’ Jacks Lodge on Highway 410 west of Naches.  Inside dining at the restaurant is closed, but patio seating is available, and when we talked to the facility, they assured us it would be plenty large to accommodate our group. 

After lunch you could head to Yakima and points east for your own wine tour or join some of us as we return on Highway 410 to Enumclaw.  At Enumclaw we can all branch off to find our best way home.  You will receive the tour directions and lunch menu in an email as soon as you register. 

If you plan to join us, please register on the web site.  Last minute reminders abut the tour details will ONLY be sent to registrants, so that we don’t clutter the email inbox of those that are not planning to attend.

We know that a mid-week tour is not possible for everyone.  However, we also know that the highway on a summer weekend will be very crowded and our choices for lunch become much harder.  For those that can be available on Thursday, we would welcome you to join us.   You can assume that we will follow the state mandated distancing and masking requirements.   

The round trip is about 200 miles, so please fill up your tank before you arrive at Burger King.
