Cruise to Buckley and General Membership Meeting

 We know some of the State restrictions have been lifted, but since it is summer time we plan at least one (or two) more outdoor events, before we move our General Meetings indoors. 

Our next Club meeting will be Saturday, August 28.  We apologize in advance to those that plan to attend the parade.  Our summers are so short, and weekend Saturdays fill quickly and we often have conflicts in the summer.  Last year when we could not have our July 4th picnic we planned a tour to Buckley.  We have created a New Route for this tour, but otherwise it will be similar, with a departure from Renton. 

The destination is Wally's (similar to XXX in Issaquah) in Buckley for a take out meal and then a group get together in the City park right behind Wally's.  Of course you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch if you prefer, but whichever your choice be sure to bring your folding chairs and club radios.  

We will have two tours and will limit each tour to 15 cars each so we don't overpower Wally's take out service.  Sign up for your preferred departure time of 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM.  If you attempt to sign up for a time slot that is already full, the web site will indicate that the time slot is full, so just sign up for the other slot or add your name to the waitlist.  Should we get more than 30 cars interested, we will add a third tour or do something else to accommodate everyone interested.  

The tour will take about an hour.  Splitting into smaller groups will allow Wally's to better serve us without undue delays.  

There are bathrooms available at the start, Wally's and the park.  You will all get a menu either by email or at the start that you can fill out and turn in at Wally's.  When we get to Wally's give your completed order to the tour leader and he/she will turn them in as a group to save everyone time.  

IMPORTANT:  Add your name and car description to the paper menu & give the menu to the tour leader.  He/she will turn in the orders as a group to save time. Wally's staff will bring your order to you outside and find you by name and car. You can pay by credit card (they have portable card readers) or by cash at your car. There is no inside seating at this time. Go inside to use the restrooms only. Do not loiter or wait for your order inside. The tour leader will help them find you. Please remain in the vicinity of your car in the Wally's lot until you get your order. Then move about a block to park on N River Road at the park right behind Wally's. If you brought a picnic lunch proceed directly to the park to avoid confusion in the Wally's parking lot.
