Our first CMCS Wet Weekend happened in 1966. Why do we call it Wet Weekend? Because we often have rain during our first tour event of the calendar year, but we drive plastic cars, so a little rain won’t hurt us.
This year we return to the Polynesian Inn at Ocean Shores. Our last visit to Ocean Shores was in 2013. The Polynesian has set aside a 2nd floor conference room for our use as a pre-function/gathering place before dinner and will have tables/chairs set up for a little competitive 31 card game after dinner, or simply socializing with your friends.
Details: We have a block of 21 rooms, non-view. Ocean view rooms available at additional cost. Some of the available rooms are pet friendly and some are not, so specify your preference when you call. The pet fee is an additional $15/pet/night. Breakfast is NOT included.
Block 1: 5 each Hotel type room with double queen. $102.20 + tax.
Block 2: 11 each Studio with either single queen or king. $118.20 + tax.
Block 3: 5 each 1 Bedroom with double queen. $150.20 + tax.
Note that the block included as many of the Block 1 & 2 rooms available, so call early if you want those rooms. For best results call Doug @ 360.289.3361 to reserve your room and mention the Seattle Corvette Club. Doug works Sun-Thurs, 3 PM-11 PM. The block on the rooms will be released Feb 28, 2024.
Dinner is set up at the Rusty Anchor Grill and Pub, located adjacent to the Polynesian, so we do not need to drive to dinner. Dinner reservations are at 6:00 PM with one long table and then additional people will be seated at individual tables.
Bonus: Facility has an indoor pool or plan to walk the beach.
Corvette friendly back road driving tour details are still being developed, and more information will be available as we get closer to the tour, but for now put this on your event calendar and call now to reserve your room. Room reservations can be cancelled up to 2 days before the event.
