Here is your chance to tour an active ballistic missile submarine stationed at Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor. This tour will include a caravan from the Lowe’s parking lot in Renton to the US Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport, WA. A Navy representative will pick us up at the museum and take us to the Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor where we will get a tour of the Trident Training Facility, eat lunch at the Trident Inn and tour an active ballistic missile submarine docked at the Delta Pier.
This tour is open to CMCS members and one guest. There is a limit of 25 people for this tour. This year, we will be sharing the sub tour with our friends from the local chapter of the Ferrari Club of America! We have mutual friends in both clubs and are looking forward to sharing this experience with fellow car enthusiasts!
Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor is the west coast homeport for the Ohio-class fleet of ballistic missile submarines. These submarines serve as a strategic deterrence force. The base is a controlled access facility and is not open to the general public. All individuals attending this tour must complete the following forms:
