WHAT: Monthly Meeting
WHERE: Wally's Drive-in
Corvette Drive meets at 12:15 pm, then departs at 12:30 pm from the Southcenter Target at 301 Strander Blvd, Tukwila, WA 981988.
New route for this Corvette Drive, with a departure from Tukwila, but otherwise the country roads drive to Buckley will be similar to our 2021 tour. The Drive will take about 85 minutes.
Destination: Wally's Drive-In, 282 WA-410, Buckley, WA 98321
2 pm: If sunny, set up in the Buckley city park on N River Ave right behind Wally's for a take-out meal with a group get-together. Those ordering food from Wally’s, pull-in there, then move about a block to park cars on N River Road at the city park right behind Wally's. Those bringing a picnic lunch should proceed directly to the city park.
If it is raining, then we will park, eat and meet at Wally’s roofed patio, using their picnic tables.
Those purchasing food at Wally’s can either park there, or park on N River Ave behind Wally’s then walk across the grass to order at Wally’s. Of course, you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch if you prefer, but whichever your choice, be sure to bring folding chairs for the meeting, and club radios for our Drive.
There are bathrooms available at the start (front of Target store), Wally's (inside), and at the city park (small concrete building).
