    I haven't had one on either of my Vettes. I bought my first Vette from a sheriff's deputy and he wouldn't put one on, he said he would risk the ticket. I don't think they would pull you over just for not having it.

    The only person I know who said he got a ticket was while his Lotus was parked.

    I copied his idea and glued some magnets behind the front license plate plug and attached magnets with felt buffers to the plate. If I remember I put it on when I park it on the street.
